📚 Swedish for Expats — Course Progress
Lesson 3 of 10 · You are 30% through the course!
👋 From my experience: My first week in Sweden I couldn't understand the floor number in the lift, the bus route number called out loud, or the price at the deli counter. Numbers seem simple but they trip up almost every new expat. This lesson fixes that fast.
Numbers in Swedish follow a very consistent pattern after 13. Once you learn 1–12 by heart, the rest almost build themselves. Let's go.
Time to complete: 10–15 minutes · Words learned: 20 numbers + bonus phrases

💡 Pattern tip: Notice that 13–19 all end in -ton (like English "-teen"). And sju (7) is pronounced "shoo" — one of the trickiest sounds in Swedish. Practice that one separately.
